Hundred        Be certain to warm up before exercising. Read these important cautions
. 1. starting position . 2. working position . 3. remain in flexion, flex knees . 4. end position
STARTING POSITION
Lying on back in imprinted position. Legs parallel and adducted in air with knees bent, ankles plantar flexed and toes gently pointed. Arms extended by sides, palms down, scapulae stabilized.

EXERCISE
To begin…
INHALE stay.

EXHALE lengthen back of neck, maintaining length, and gently slide shoulder blades down to stabilize, contract abdominals to slide rib cage toward pelvis, and flex upper back & neck, reaching arms off mat to be level with shoulders. Simultaneously extend legs as low as imprint can be maintained.
Then…
INHALE for five counts, maintaining spinal flexion, scapular and pelvic stability while a small vertical pulse with arms on each count.

Complete 10 sets (total of 100 counts).

To finish…
INHALE remain in spinal flexion, bend knees in and continue reaching with arms.

EXHALE return upper body to mat, legs in air.
FOCUS
stabilize rib cage and scapulae throughout to avoid upper body tension
maintain imprint throughout exercise
avoid overly tucking pelvis
stay wide across front and back of shoulders with equal emphasis on scapular stabilizers and pectorals to avoid protracting shoulders
initiate movement of arms at shoulder joint, not elbow; put emphasis on downward motion with arms
avoid overworking rectus abdominis over flexing lumbar spine, coming too high, giving appearance of popping abdominals
maintain thoracic flexion throughout exercise
