Designed for individuals with strong anatomy training, a minimum of three years experience teaching dance, fitness or movement, and familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, these intensive, hands-on courses will prepare you to teach the complete repertoire of STOTT PILATES exercises effectively and with confidence.

STOTT is recognized by the American Council on Exercise* as a Continuing Education Specialist.

PREREQUISITES
The intensive courses above are recommended for certified fitness instructors, personal trainers, and other fitness & health professionals who want to expand their knowledge and enhance their business. Applicants must have, at least three years experience teaching fitness, dance or movement, familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, formal anatomy training and a working knowledge of muscle origins, insertions and functions, in order to attend the course.

About the Studio:
Calgary Pilates Centre's mission is to empower you to take an active and informed role in your own health and well-being. Through the philosophies of pilates, you will learn to more fully integrate your body and mind.

The Centre is a bright, clean and friendly environment. Clients often comment on how comfortable they are asking questions, and exploring new ways of connecting their mind to their movement. Classes are small to enable one-on-one attention and allowing us to get to know every client individually.

Instructor Trainer:
Jo-Anne M. Repond, B.A. M.A.
Fully certified as a STOTT Pilates Instructor Trainer, Jo-Anne Repond is a former dancer, performer, and choreographer with a passion for human kinetics. She first discovered pilates while pursuing her Master’s of Arts in New York. It was through her studies in dance, education, movement analysis and kinesiology that she was introduced to pilates, and was soon hooked. Since her certification she has worked with physiotherapists, helping their patients on the road to recovery, trained athletes to enhance their athletic performance and assisted breast cancer survivors rebuild their strength and spirit.
