The Studio
With 17 acres of grounds, The Claremont Club feels more like a country club or private resort. Originally built in 1935 as a residence, The distinctive stone clubhouse is now an official historical landmark. When With many tennis courts, an outdoor pool, racquetball, a fitness area. steam room, sauna, full-service spa, locker rooms and a cafe, the Claremont Club provides a world-class facility for promoting fitness, fun, and relaxation.

Instructor Trainer:
JOHN GAREY, owner of The John Garey Pilates Studio in Long Beach, CA, holds a MA in Adult Fitness from New York University. He is a former U.S. National Aerobic Champion and has been studying and practicing pilates for more than 8 years. John is a STOTT PILATES certified Instructor Trainer and an international fitness presenter.

PREREQUISITES
The intensive courses above are recommended for certified fitness instructors, personal trainers, and other fitness & health professionals who want to expand their knowledge and enhance their business. Applicants must have, at least three years experience teaching fitness, dance or movement, familiarity with the works of Joseph Pilates, formal anatomy training and a working knowledge of muscle origins, insertions and functions, in order to attend the course.

EARN ACE CREDITS
STOTT PILATES is recognized by the American Council on Exercise* as a Continuing Education Specialist. Earn 4.0 ACE CECs for Matwork course. Earn 5.0 CECs for Reformer course

NOTE REGARDING EXAMS
You are not obliged to write (and pay for) two exams if you are planning to take both courses. You may choose to wait until completion of the second course to write your exam (a combined Matwork and Reformer exam). If you prefer to pause between courses, you may choose to take an exam to become certified in Matwork only, and another exam (a combined Matwork and Reformer exam) after completing the second course to become certified in Reformer work. In this case two exam fees would apply.

the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario as a continuing education provider.
