STOTT PILATES equipment

Getting Started
with STOTT PILATES

To evaluate your needs, begin creating an awareness of the deep torso muscles and to establish a foundation in the technique, we recommend a one-on-one introductory session followed by five private sessions. This allows us to tailor a program to suit your needs.

Following your introduction to STOTT PILATES,
these session options are available:

  • private: one-on-one personal training
  • semi-private: work out with a friend or have us arrange a partner for you
  • instructor-led groups: join a regularly scheduled group or coordinate your own group of
3 to 6 people in our group equipment classes or 9 to 12 people in our group Matwork classes.

Sessions are typically one hour in length; however, additional time may be booked in half-hour allotments.
Please arrive a few minutes early to receive your full session.

Workout Attire

Please wear comfortable exercise clothing (may be loose fitting but not bulky). Shoes should not be worn as they are restrictive.

Allergies

Because some of our clients suffer from environmental allergies, we request that you refrain from using fragrances or hairspray in our facilities.
Thank you.

The Instructors

STOTT PILATES instructors are highly qualified professionals. All are certified
in the STOTT PILATES method. Many have danced professionally or hold degrees
in dance, kinesiology, physical education or physiotherapy. Each instructor brings
his or her own rich experience to your session.

To benefit from different teaching
styles, we recommend working
with more than one instructor.
