STOTT PILATES® Freight & Delivery Policy

UPON DELIVERY, PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER AND NOTE ANY SHIPPING DAMAGE TO THE OUTER BOX/SKID ON THE CARRIER'S WAYBILL PRIOR TO SIGNING FOR RECEIPT OF THE ORDER.

If you appoint someone to sign for your order on your behalf, please ensure that they are aware of this requirement and are over 18 years of age.

WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO YOUR ORDER THAT IS NOT REPORTED AND NOTED ON THE WAYBILL.

IMPORTANT: Please use care when opening your freight. Box cutters should not be used due to potential damage to upholstered parts on your equipment

ANY DAMAGE TO PRODUCT OR MISSING/INCORRECT ITEMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN FIVE BUSINESS DAYS OF RECEIPT.

DVDs and Accessories

Within Canada & Continental USA

a) Small and Mid-Sized Items – DVDs, Flex-Band® exercisers and Mini Stability Balls™ are shipped in envelopes via standard postal service and should arrive in approximately 10 business days. Accessories such as the Fitness Circle® resistance ring, Arc Barrels and manuals are shipped via standard service courier and should arrive in approximately five to eight days.

Calculating Shipping Rates – Shipping rates are automatically calculated by the dimensional weight or actual weight of the products being shipped (whichever is the greater of the two). Rates are also determined by rush versus regular delivery service and the final shipping destination.

Outside Canada & Continental USA

Small and Mid-Sized Items – DVDs, Flex-Band exercisers, Mini Stability Balls and Fitness Circle resistance rings are shipped via express service courier and should arrive in approximately five to seven days.

Large Equipment Shipments

Within Canada & Continental USA

Large equipment is shipped by ground via a freight carrier, carefully packed in a cardboard box and secured to a wooden skid.

When placing your order, you will be advised of your delivery options.

a) Curbside Delivery is a liftgate service, delivered to curbside as close to your building as possible.

This is a more economical choice for customers with flexible schedules as this option does not include a time guarantee. You will be contacted by the freight company to set up a delivery window. On rare occasions, unforeseen circumstances may cause your delivery to be rescheduled.

b) Time-critical Delivery will guarantee the delivery window. If the delivery company makes an appointment for a delivery window and is unable to keep the appointment, your freight charges will be refunded.

Please note that options (a) or (b) above do not include inside delivery or setup. You are responsible for unpacking, installation and disposal of packaging materials. Please ensure that you have on-site personnel to assist you with transport from curb to final placement and with set-up.

c) White Glove Delivery options are available. Services range from simple inside delivery to delivery with setup and disposal of packaging materials. Your sales representative can provide you with a quote for required services.

Additional charges may apply based on unusual conditions at your facility, for example: a multiple storey walkup. Please note that deliveries are scheduled during standard business hours, which vary by carrier. If available, after hours or weekend deliveries are subject to additional service charges. Please advise your sales representative in advance of any special requests or unusual circumstances to ensure that you are not assessed additional onsite charges.

Please note that delivery prices quoted include one delivery attempt. Additional charges apply for waiting time or to reschedule if you miss your appointed delivery time.

Unless you have opted for setup and installation, you are responsible for setting up your own equipment. Reformers, Wall Units and Ladder Barrels arrive 90% assembled. Cadillacs and Stability Chairs™ require additional assembly or installation labor. All products are shipped with instructions and basic tools to facilitate this process and our Customer Service Specialist is available to assist with any questions you may have.

International and overseas shipments

Standard quoted shipping options include Ocean Freight to nearest port or Air Freight to nearest airport. Door-to-door delivery may be available for your order at an additional charge. Please contact us for details.

Local Customs & Duties Outside Canada & USA – Unless prearranged, buyer will subject to import duties and taxes levied when a shipment reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the Buyer's responsibility; Buyer is considered the importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which Buyer is receiving the goods.
