STOTT PILATES® Launches Specialty Tracks Program

TORONTO, SEPTEMBER 14, 2010

TORONTO - STOTT PILATES® launched their new Specialty Tracks program on September 1, 2010. Specialty Tracks are designed as a tool for instructors, allowing them to concentrate on a particular demographic and gain access to niche client groups. The five Specialty Tracks are: Athletic Conditioning, Golf Conditioning, Post-Rehabilitation Conditioning, Active for Life and Pre & Postnatal. Specialty Track workshops are open to all fitness professionals looking to focus their training and acquire new skills. STOTT PILATES certified instructors qualify for the designation of “Specialist” upon completing eight workshops within a track.

“Specialty Tracks give instructors the opportunity to set themselves above the competition by giving them the knowledge and resources to appeal to clients with specific programming challenges,” said Lindsay G. Merrithew, president and CEO of Merrithew International. There is no time limit to complete the eight components and all workshops qualify for Continuing Education Credits.

Often referred to as the “Ivy League” school of Pilates, STOTT PILATES education and certification programs provide instructors with a depth of knowledge and practical programming options to teach clients of all fitness levels and backgrounds. STOTT PILATES workshops can be taken at training centers or educational conferences around the globe.
