Pilates Instructor Wanted - Life Time Fitness

Life Time Fitness Kingwood-Atascocita in Atascocita, TX, seeks an Instructor to be responsible for providing various Pilates training services that offer members programs to maximize workout efficiency, improve fitness, increase stamina, enjoy their fitness experience and improve overall sense of well-being.

Requirements Include:

• STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor
• Full certification includes Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair & Barrels
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 years teaching experience
• College degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or other related field preferred
• Pilates program design experience
• Other Pilates certifications will be considered
• CPR/AED certification

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop safe, professional and comprehensive Pilates training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals
• Monitor and instruct clients during Pilates training sessions on the safe and effective use the equipment
• Conduct fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening and goal setting to assess and recommend Pilates training programs
• Instruct both private and group Pilates classes
• Educate members on current health and fitness issues and trends
• Deliver Pilates training programs based on referring physician‚s instructions as required
• Schedule and complete record keeping according to standard operating procedures
