Who is my education provider in the UK?

Merrithew Health & Fitness™, through its premier brand STOTT PILATES, is now your education provider in the UK. We will continue to work with local UK STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainers as well as augment our education efforts through Corporate ITs and International Presenters who will travel to the UK to provide on going training. All courses and schedules are being coordinated at this time from our head office in Toronto, Canada, or via YMCAfit in Central London where education will continue. Is Pilates Solutions Limited (PSL) still providing STOTT PILATES education through Active Training in the UK?

On January 12th, 2011 Merrithew Health & Fitness™ was advised that Pilates Solutions Limited, inclusive of Active Training, had entered the administration process. Consequently, Pilates Solutions Limited is no longer providing STOTT PILATES training in the UK.

Q.

How can I get my money back for education I’ve paid for directly through Pilates Solutions Limited?

A.

Payments made for all education booked directly through Pilates Solutions Limited, under its Active Training banner, remain the responsibility of PSL and its Administrators. Merrithew Health & Fitness has not received, nor have we ever received, the deposits, enrollment or exam fees for upcoming education. We strongly suggest you contact the Administrators of Pilates Solutions Limited directly to establish a claim for your refund. What if I booked and paid for education directly through the London YMCAfit?

The upcoming IMP course scheduled on Feb 4-6, 11-13 and 19-20, as well as the IMP course beginning on March 14th, and IR course starting March 4th will be running as scheduled. For more information and updates click here or email UKtraining@stottpilates.com

How can I complete my STOTT PILATES education?

A.

It is our priority to ensure that education continues in the UK and that our students are supported with their education paths. We are reviewing a number of locations and we will keep our website updated with all new courses, workshops, exam options and dates as they are confirmed in the coming weeks. At present, we are working with YMCAfit in Central London (111 Great Russell Street) to continue to offering education through this organization. Please visit our website (location London, England) for the most up-to-date schedules. More dates will be added shortly. Outside of the UK, students can also pursue their education at any of our other Licensed Training Centers, Hosting facilities, or Corporate Training Center locations worldwide. Please be aware that we have not been provided with any registered course participant lists for upcoming training from Pilates Solutions Limited. If you are enrolled in an upcoming course or examination in the UK, or have any further questions or concerns, please contact us at uktraining@stottpilates.com  We thank you for your patience during this transition time, and remain committed to providing you with options in pursuing your STOTT PILATES education.

How long do I have to complete my course examination?

A.

Exams are typically to be completed within six months of completing your last STOTT PILATES Education course (this includes ISP). We encourage you to take some time afterward to practice and synthesize the information prior to taking the exam; however, you are welcome to take the exam immediately after you complete the course if you and your instructor agree you are ready.

We are making every effort to accommodate students with their exams and education needs and are providing exam extensions for students if necessary. All exams are being coordinated at this time from our head office in Toronto, Canada, or via YMCAfit in Central London where education will continue.

We are confident that upcoming exam dates will be available in a number of locations in the UK however, until all of these details are confirmed by STOTT PILATES head office, we will honor extensions. Merrithew Health & Fitness is currently offering new STOTT PILATES Equipment and Reformer Bundles, not previously offered in the UK.
