Great Opportunity for Pilates Intructor with Extensive Fitness Industry Background: Looking for Fitness Programs Director
The Olympic Club in San Francisco, California seeks a Fitness Programs Director. Exempt position. Reports to the Athletic Director. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Hire, schedule and supervise hourly class instructors in Yoga, Pilates, Water Fitness, Indoor Cycling and senior programs. Maintain accurate attendance records for each class. Organize and promote the Senior Fitness Program. Keep accurate and up-to-date fitness schedules posted on company website, in the Olympian magazine and on bulletin boards. Follow proper purchasing procedures for approved expenditures. Assist other departments as needed and assigned by the Athletic Director. Checks up on fitness equipment to ensure they are functioning. Is prepared to lead classes when necessary. Write articles for the Olympian magazine and website. Design and implement motivational challenges and events at least twice a year.
Full Time position available.

Requirements Include:
STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor
Trained in Matwork
Minimum 2+ years Pilates teaching experience
Minimum of three years experience in the fitness industry
Yoga, Pilates, Water Fitness & Indoor Cycling/Spin
Degree in Physical Education/allied health field or foreign equivalency
NSCA, ACSM, or other fitness certification desired
Excellent teaching abilities and great communication skills
Excellent English communication skills, both orally and written
Computer skills and intermediate knowledge of Excel
