Meet Our Presenters
John Garey
John Garey has studied Pilates for more than 15 years and owns Los Angeles-based John Garey Pilates, a STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Center and Competitor magazine’s choice for "the best Pilates studio in Southern California." A renowned figure in the fitness industry, John is a regular contributor to Pilates and fitness articles featured in national publications such as Men’s Fitness, Shape and the Los Angeles Times. He was named one of the three most popular instructors in Chicago by The Chicago Tribune, and one of the top six most notable instructors in the United States by American Fitness Magazine. John has also presented workshops at some of the most prestigious conferences and health clubs around the globe and holds a Masters degree in Adult Fitness from NYU.
PJ O'Clair
STOTT PILATES® Master Instructor Trainer PJ O’Clair has been a leader and consultant in the fitness industry for more than 25 years. She is featured in numerous fitness videos including over 25 titles with STOTT PILATES. PJ was also a finalist for the prestigious IDEA “Program Director of the Year” award in 2006 and a nominee in 2007. Her clientele ranges from professional athletes, media celebrities, fashion designers, to everyday people of all ages just wanting to get fit. She is a sought-after speaker and consultant at fitness conferences and spas worldwide and has written numerous articles for industry publications. No matter where she goes, PJ takes her trademark enthusiasm and dynamic personality with her.
Angel García Devesa
Angel García Devesa is the Technical Director for AkroStudio and a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer. He studied Occupational Therapy and has worked in various Pilates centers in Madrid, Spain. Throughout his fruitful career, Angel has had the opportunity to work with several noteworthy professionals, including the renowned dancer, Victor Ullate. In fact, while working as a therapist, Angel partnered with Mr. Ullate at his center to teach Pilates. Angel has studied in several Pilates schools worldwide and is a recognized teacher all across Spain and South America. He also leads the Rehab Pilates program at the European University of Madrid, where he works with professionals such as Diane Lee to guarantee the development of the STOTT PILATES curriculum within his latest research.
Sally Belanger
Certified STOTT PILATES Instructor Trainer Sally Belanger is an enthusiastic, self-motivated, charismatic person who truly believes in this refined, contemporary form of exercise as a way of life. With fifteen years experience in the fitness industry, she exemplifies the true mind-body existence as the Assistant Program Director, Education for STOTT PILATES.
