Moira Merrithew

Master Instructor Trainer, Moira Merrithew, together with President and CEO of STOTT PILATES Lindsay Merrithew and a team of physical therapists, sports medicine and fitness professionals, has spent more than a decade refining the STOTT PILATES® method of exercise and equipment. This resulted in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and spinal rehabilitation, making it safer and more effective. Sally Belanger

Sally has travelled extensively around the globe exhibiting her expertise as a STOTT PILATES® Presenter and Trainer. Stationed at the Corporate Training Center in Toronto, she is a Certified Instructor Trainer and Assistant Program Director for the Education division. She graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario with a degree in Physical and Health Education and later became certified as an Ace Personal Trainer as well as a Certified Fitness Consultant in association with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists. With over 15 years experience in the fitness industry, Sally has coached elite athletes from a variety of disciplines perfecting their game while reducing the likelihood of injury.

Jennifer Dahl

As a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor Trainer, Jennifer brings her abundant energy to the Corporate Training Center in Toronto. A highly-regarded instructor, she teaches courses, examines students for certification and presents workshops in Canada and internationally. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, and is also a graduate from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre. Jennifer continues to work as a professional dancer and choreographer in conjunction with her Pilates career, and has performed across Canada with numerous dance and theatre companies.

Stefania Della Pia

As Assistant Program Director and Instructor Trainer for STOTT PILATES®, Stefania Della Pia plays an instrumental role in developing and overseeing the examination and certification policies for education. In addition to teaching pilates for the past decade, she represents the company internationally in more than 11 countries examining students, training instructors and presenting workshops.  Stefania is certified as an ACE Personal Trainer and a Can-Fit Pro Personal Trainer Specialist.

Laureen DuBeau

Assistant Program Director for STOTT PILATES®, Laureen is an integral member of a dynamic team responsible for the global development and implementation of training and certification programs. Her spirited approach to teaching has made Laureen a vibrant international presenter, trainer and examiner. She began teaching Pilates in 1995 and is now a Certified Instructor Trainer in all areas, including Matwork, Reformer and Rehabilitation. Laureen is a featured performer in several STOTT PILATES DVDs, the associate editor of numerous teaching manuals, and an author of articles in several industry publications. Laureen studied Dance and Physical Education at York University in Toronto where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Carla Hales

Carla has been a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor Trainer since 1998. Originally based at the International Certification Center in Toronto, she helped establish the STOTT PILATES Northern California Certification Center in 2001 and directed the education programs there until her return to Toronto in 2003. Carla has presented at many industry trade shows and conferences, co-supervised technical direction of several STOTT PILATES DVDs and is recognized as a continuing education provider for the American Council on Exercise. Carla holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University in Toronto, with affiliated study from the University of Leeds in England. She is also certified in Gyrotonic and is an ACE Personal Trainer.

Renee Peruzzo

Rene has been a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer since 2003. Travelling extensively around the world, she teaches certification programs, and conducting exams and workshops covering Matwork, club equipment as well as special populations. Before becoming a member of the STOTT PILATES team in Toronto, Renee brought Pilates to Windsor ON, where she was the first fully-certified STOTT PILATES instructor in the area. She has also studied, performed, choreographed and taught numerous styles of dance for over fifteen years. Renee has also studied three different styles of Yoga, has white belt in Nia, is certified in both Gyrotonic & the Ladder and is also a Reiki Master.

Wayne Seeto

As a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor Trainer Wayne has worked in the fitness industry for more than 10 years and is a recognized leader in his field. Based at the STOTT PILATES International Certification Center in Toronto, this high-energy Australian native is a featured performer in several award-winning workout videos and has traveled around the world to present workshops and teach the STOTT PILATES method. Prior to joining the organization, Wayne received his Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland, Australia. Carol Tricoche

Global Sales Director, Full Solutions for STOTT PILATES®, Carol Tricoche is instrumental in the consultation with and ongoing support for facilities (large and small) looking to implement a customized Pilates program. As the Group Exercise / Pilates Director at the Claremont Club in California for eight years, she pioneered a successful Pilates program which continues to thrive. During her time there, Carol gained invaluable experience and expertise in implementing programs from the ground up. A STOTT PILATES Certified Instructor, Carol also has earned her qualifications through Johnny G Spinning, AFAA Certifications in Personal Training Weight Room, Group Exercise, STEP, Cardio Kickboxing and an Associates of Arts, Liberal Arts degree from Mt. Stéphane André

French born Stéphane André is a graduate of the Paris' Conservatoire Supérieur National de Danse and has been a professional dancer since 1989 performing throughout North America, Canada, Europe and Asia. In 2003 Stéphane became the first native French STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer. Improving the quality of life for his clients and students is his passion, which has enabled him to work with leading figures in the fitness industry as well as neuro-muscular and osteopathy professionals worldwide.





Michaela Bimbi-Dresp

Beginning in early childhood, Michaela studied dance in her native Germany and throughout Europe. While spending time in the US, she received ACE Certifications as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, and taught classes including step-aerobics, kickboxing, and senior fitness. She then completed her STOTT PILATES® Certification in New York and the UK. In 2002, Michaela became owner and operator of PilatesbodyEK,the first STOTT PILATES® Certification Center in Munich, Germany. Joanne Bunbury

A Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer and former dancer, performer and choreographer, Jo-Anne first discovered Pilates in New York while pursuing her Masters of Arts degree at NYU. Her studies in dance, education, movement analysis and kinesiology along with her passion for human kinetics, provided a solid background to facilitate her training. Melanie Byford-Young

Melanie graduated with a degree in Physiotherapy from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Specializing in orthopedics and manual therapy, she spent the next 10 years working as a physiotherapist at a private practice. In 1999, she became a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer teaching the full repertoire for Matwork, equipment as well as Injuries & Special Populations. Michael Christensen

Michael is co-owner and CEO of the STOTT PILATES® Licensed Training Center in Denmark and travels regularly to the U.K. to teach and present the method. A professional ballet and modern dancer in the early 1990’s, Michael has been using Pilates as a part of his training regime for many years. Matthew Comer, MS, has worked in the mind-body and wellness field for more than 20 years. Angel is the Technical Director for AkroStudio and a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor Trainer who has worked in various Pilates centers in Madrid, Spain. Throughout his fruitful career, Angel has had the opportunity to work with several noteworthy professionals, including the renowned dancer, Victor Ullate, and is a recognized teacher all across Spain and South America. He studied Occupational Therapy and leads the Rehab Pilates program at the European University of Madrid, where he works with individuals such as Diane Lee to guarantee the development of the STOTT PILATES curriculum within his latest research.

Marshall Eklund

Known for his clinical knowledge, endless humor, and abundant energy, Marshall earned his first fitness certification and began training clients in 1986. As a pioneer in the fitness industry, Marshall was at the forefront of implementing Pilates training into traditional personal training. Monique Lavoie

A STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer since 1997, Monique is the owner and director of three Pilates studios and a STOTT PILATES Licensed Training Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A graduate of The National Ballet School and a former owner of a fitness studio in Toronto, Monique combines over 20 years of dance and fitness teaching experience with her knowledge of Pilates to ensure that clients and students experience the best in mind-body exercise. Francisca Llabres

Francisca started her classical ballet studies in Palma de Mallorca before moving to Barcelona to continue her education in contemporary and jazz studies. Throughout her travels with various dance companies, she has been exposed to several mind-body techniques including Do-ing, Yoga, and Feldenkrais. In 2001, she began her STOTT PILATES® education in Toronto and is now a Certified Instructor Trainer. Francisca introduced the STOTT PILATES method to Mallorca, implementing the program into a major fitness centre. She studied Gyrotonic & Gyrokinesis® directly, and became a master BOSU®* trainer. She has also collaborated with the technical crew of the Global Tennis Team, where she trained players including Carlos Moya and Rafael Nadal. Jodi Solie

Jodi Solie is a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer and Licensed Training Centre owner and director – as well as an ACE and Can-Fit-Pro Certified Personal Trainer. After becoming Regina’s first certified instructor in 2000, Jodi founded Regina’s first Pilates studio in 2001. Jodi has now established her studio as the only STOTT PILATES Licensed Training Centre in Saskatchewan. Jodi holds full certification in Matwork, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair and Barrels, along with Injuries and Special Populations courses.  She is currently very involved with the education of instructors in the STOTT PILATES method of movement. Jill Winegar

Jill Winegar has worked in the fitness industry for over 27 years and is the Program and Pilates Director for the Sweatshop Health Club in St. Paul, Minnesota.  She received her degree from the University of Minnesota in 1983 and returned to school in 1994 to complete her pre-requisites for entry to the University’s Physical Therapy Program.  Jill is a faculty member at the University of Minnesota’s Dance Dept. and holds certifications as a group fitness instructor, personal trainer, kettle ball instructor, and STOTT PILATES® Instructor Trainer. Jill travels the globe presenting workshops and courses and was invited as a guest presenter at the prestigious Golden Door Spa in Escondido California and Rancho la Puerta. Among her most exciting experiences is training recording artist Sting on his most recent tour with The Police.

Beatriz Wyser

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Beatriz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Dance Stockholm. She also studied in New York at the Alvin Nikolai and Murray Louis companies, and has been a choreographer, dancer and dance teacher. Beatriz became a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor in 2001 and Instructor Trainer in 2007. She has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 15 years as an instructor and sport advisor, an Instructor Trainer and Nike Athlete. A presenter for Aerobic & Fitness for the past 10 years, Beatriz has also studied Feldenkrais and Gyrotonic.
