Essential Reformer on the
V2 Max Plus™ Reformer
Explore how altering the angle of resistance can facilitate and expand the
existing Reformer repertoire. In this workshop, participants will learn a series
of essential level exercises using the V2 Max Plus™ Reformer’s* adjustable
pulley system and extensor straps. Using the height-adjustable pulleys on the
unit’s vertical frame, learn how the angle of resistance can be changed to help
fire the appropriate muscles and achieve increased range of motion in triplanar
movements. Ideal for instructors from beginner to expert and for clients
at any fitness level.

Athletic Conditioning on the Stability Chair
This workshop will introduce participants to a variety of exercises on the STOTT PILATES®
Split-Pedal Stability Chair that can benefit any level of athlete. The capabilities of the Chair
will be highlighted, and all its features will be utilized in the context of a well-rounded workout designed to retrain imbalanced muscles and builds on the strength and agility of the whole body. Discover functional movements against spring resistance in a variety of positions that train core stability while working bilaterally, unilaterally or reciprocally with the limbs to enhance sport-specific performance or everyday life.

Teaching Matwork to First-Timers OR Matwork Orientation Session
This introductory session may be the most important group Matwork class you teach and this workshop provides the tools to ensure your class is motivating, stimulating and keep your first-time clients coming back for more. Selected STOTT PILATES® essential-level Matwork exercises some using the Flex-Band® - will be examined with an eye to maintaining pace
and flow so participants ‘feel’ the workout, while still ensuring proper technique. The use of demonstration, imagery and concise cueing and correcting will be discussed while focusing on group safety in the studio.
